A "Mention" button was added to the Heello profile page layout this afternoon. Clicking the button will automatically pull up a new ping input box with the specified user's name embedded into the ping. Don't forget to checkout our latest version of Ping It!, our Google Chrome Extension: Here

@TeamPing is proud to bring you "Ping It!" by @kyran. This is a browser extension for Google Chrome and Heello.com, and we think you'll enjoy it. It's available here.

Say you're browsing your favorite website and you see something that makes you just want to ping. We've all been there, right? Just click on the P.it icon in Chrome, and you'll see the Ping It! window appear. It'll even have a web link prepopulated, so you can show the world what made you need to ping!

You can always delete the web link in the ping, but either way, when you're done composing your thoughts, hit the Enter key. The Heello world will find out what you think soon enough.

Heello.com developer @meltingice has updated the HTML5 web-based mobile app with the ability to echo and delete pings. 

Looks like the @Heello team is hard at work today! At around 6pm eastern time the Heello.com HTML5 web-based mobile app was released. Above is a slideshare presentation with some screenshots of the new app!

Late last night CEO of Heello.com, @Noah, teased the Heello community with a new feature announcement.  This morning he revealed Heello's new video sharing abilities. Video sharing works no differently than picture sharing. Simply click the camera icon while posting a ping to add a short video along with your status. In less then one week the Heello team is executing brilliantly. Rumor is the team is working on an HTML5 web-based app, but no official word from the team on a release date. It appears that an iPhone app is also in the works. @meltingice pinged this teaser screenshot a few days ago. Hopefully we will have some more news on a release date within the next week. Well, now you can click on any top user in any list, and look to the right of the screen to see his or her latest pings and echoes. So not only can you keep track of increase and decrease in the listener count of top users, but also follow their updates while you're doing it, without even being connected to Heello.com!

Not a top user on Heello.com? That's okay, we can't all be @Noah, right? But you can still copy the widget code on any of the pages of HeelloStatistics.com, insert your own user name, and paste it into your blog, Tumblr, or personal website. Now everyone can track the nifty updates you're sharing on Heello.com, without even visiting the site!
